How to crop an image into a circle
You only need an image and a few seconds. The cropper opens straight in your browser, with no account to create and no extra app to install.

Keep the original crop detail, choose 256 or 512 pixels, or enter a custom size, then save a PNG with transparent corners or a white-background JPG.
Keep the face—not an awkward crop
A profile picture can look fine as a square and still lose a forehead, hairstyle, or pair of glasses inside a round frame. Zoom out slightly and leave a little room around the subject before you download. The live preview shows exactly what stays inside the circle.
The same rule helps with team headshots and logos: keep important details away from the outer edge, where another app may add its own ring or mask.
Need a transparent background? Choose PNG
PNG keeps the area outside your circle transparent, so the image sits cleanly on a website, colored card, or profile header without white corners. JPG does not support transparency, so this cropper fills the background with white instead.
If your round image shows a white box, download the PNG version and make sure the app where you use it preserves transparency.
Choose a size that stays sharp
Use Original detail when you want to keep every pixel available in the crop. Choose 256 or 512 pixels, or enter a custom size from 16 to 4096 pixels, when you need a predictable square file for a profile, directory, or web layout.
A larger download cannot restore detail that was not present in the source photo. Start with the clearest original you have, frame it closely enough to use those pixels well, and avoid enlarging a small image elsewhere.
A private circle cropper with no upload
